Q&A: Travel tips for Asia in summer?
Concern by Al I: Travel tips for Asia in summer time?
I would like to go to Asia this year (i whish i could go to India or somwhere in southeastasia) – but the difficulty is that i have only time in summer (July-August).
I dont like rain so it must be a area not afflicted by the Monsoon.
(I’ve heard that Indonesia is dry but they have Ramadan during this august.)
so, wherever could i go? any other guidelines?

Stay away from buying as well significantly stuff. Asians adore to get visitors in their palms. I was in Vietnam browsing my grandma and we went on a tour. The value was various for those who have been travelers and those who could converse Vietnamese. lol

Good on you for listing SEA as one of your choices!
If you are coming to SEA, expect some rain, we are in the tropics after all. However you won’t experience any flooding or massive winds etc. For e.g. if you visit the South-West Malaysian islands, you will experience the end of a monsoon season.
If you have the chance travel through SEA, visit Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Cambodia. Despite being so close to each other, each country has distinctive cultures and flavours. Yes, Malaysia and Indonesia will be in Ramadan mode however they are fairly open if you are a tourist/visitor. The country does not stop or shut down just because it’s the fasting month. They still cater for the millions of other non-Muslims.
Also, use AirAsia – the budget airline that operates quite frequently between the countries!
Good luck on your decision!
Why don’t you come sri lanka? Sri Lanka has been known as one of the worlds most beautiful and diverse exotic holiday destinations.
Sri Lanka lies in the Indian Ocean off the southern tip of the coast of India. The island is a proximal 65.610 sq. km. The coastline gives way to lowland plains, growing coconut and rice. In the mid country rubber vies with gems, while green carpets of tea clothe the central mountain ranges, reaching heights of some 2.432 meters.
If you wish travel to sri lanka please contact best travel agent in that country. It will be easier to you.
The rain is just there, I have been in Bangkok in April, July and September and one afternoon of rain maybe. I have heard it rain all day in these months when I have not gone there. It’s a chance you take during this period of time. You make allowances for the rain. More time on the road, do it later whatever. Since you don’t like rain, don’t travel to asia during April to November, it can rain, storm, have typhoons or hurricanes. You cannot avoid it. Just accept it and make the most of it or don’t travel there. It’s just water.
